Enerwhere’s solar generator rental solutions dramatically reduce the fuel consumption of conventional diesel generators and are available on a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) basis, without upfront investments from users.
With the introduction of solar net metering in Dubai, Enerwhere also offers fully-financed solar rooftop solutions for commercial and industrial customers under DEWA’s Shams Dubai initiative.
Enerwhere was founded in 2012 by a group of investors with a wealth of experience in the Middle East and Africa power segment, who recognized the increasing demand for fuel efficient off-grid / temporary energy solutions. The company initially started operations as Ambata Renewable Resources, until the Enerwhere brand was launched at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) in January 2013.
The first pilot system was deployed on a construction site on The World Islands in February 2014, only 6 weeks after contract signature. Enerwhere’s first full-scale 5 MVA solar-diesel hybrid production system was installed a few months later at Saadiyat Accommodation Village (SAV) in Abu Dhabi. The 8,000 man labor camp that was fully powered by Enerwhere for 8 month until grid connection in February 2015.
